Stephen M Warren, Chief Financial Officer, Principal & Owner
Mr. Warren is currently the Chief Financial Officer and one of the Principal owners of Bennett Warren & Associates and former Budget Officer for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer for the city of Washington, DC. Bennett Warren & Associates, LLC is a Minority Disabled Veteran owned Wholesale Commodity, Product Distributorship and Health Systems Services, Management Consulting Company. He has also served as The Director of Special Projects for the Cornell University College of Engineering, one of the world's top engineering schools. The company currently acts as an international trade intermediary for commodities exchange and also offers consulting services.
In his 15 year tenure with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer for the District of Columbia, he has served as a recruiter and financial analyst holding progressively responsible positions in financial and budget analysis. He served in the OCFO Office of Management and Administration (OMA) and the Department of Health, before ultimately becoming the Budget Director of the Department of Human Services where he managed a budget of over $400 million and 2,100 positions.
Mr. Warren received his Bachelor of Science in International Business from Hampton University, Hampton, VA, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is also a certified professional in Performance Measurement and Management. Mr. Warren is also President/CEO of Warren Real Estate Solutions, Upper Marlboro, MD.
Kenneth V Smith, Sr., Chief Executive Officer, Principal & Owner
Mr. Smith enlisted in the US Navy immediately after high school. After completing Electronics Technician Class A and C schools served two-years of duty in the Philippines. While serving in the Philippines he was selected for the Navy's Broadened Opportunity for Officer Training and Selection (BOOST) program which was a NROTC scholarship program. Upon completing BOOST training in San Diego, CA he proceeded to Hampton University where he received a BS in Business Management and commission as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. Mr. Smith subsequently served tours on two warships home based out of Norfolk, VA prior to being assigned to Prairie View A & M University as Assistant Professor of Naval Science and Recruiting Officer. Upon completion of duty at Prairie View he was assigned as Operations Officer/Executive Officer at Fort Dix Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). After leaving Fort Dix MEPS he moved into the civilian work force as an Area Leader with Lincoln Industries in Lincoln, NE. While working at Lincoln Industries Mr. Smith was recalled to active duty in support of drug intervention operations with US Southern Command and USCOMNAVSO in Mayport, FL. Upon completion of tour and assignment he moved into a position as Operations Officer/Plant Manager with Tubular Steel in Katy, TX. Mr. Smith left Tubular Steel to serve active duty Navy assignments with the Joint Irregular Warfare Center in Norfolk, VA and Expeditionary Support Group Five in Manama, Bahrain which were completed in September 2010.
Mr. Smith holds a BS in Management from Hampton University and a Graduate credential in Human Resources from Central Michigan University. He has also been educated in Project Management and Business Logistics by the Global Maritime and Transportation School.
Jameel K Bennett, Sr., Chief Operations Officer, Principal and Owner
Jameel Bennett has over ten years of providing leadership, quality care, and customer service to clients in rehabilitation and acute care hospital settings. Experience to include but not limited to patient care, personnel development, analyzing systems, developing and evaluating reports, and providing technical support to senior level management to identify areas in need of improvement. He is a proactive Leader who looks beyond the "status-quo" to identify hidden profit opportunities, and has an innovative career track record of exceeding industry and company standards. Since 2004 Mr. Bennett has also been the owner of Bennett Wholesale Distributors, Columbia, SC; and has extensive experience in productivity, staffing, and supplier relations. Previously, he has served as a Business Analyst, Administrative Resident and Counselor for Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia, SC, and a Counselor/Behavior Manager, for Carolina Children's Home also in Columbia, SC.
Mr. Bennett has a Masters of Arts in Health Service Management, Webster University, Columbia, SC and Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology and Audiology, South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC
